It’s not my first read by this author, so I can confidently say that it’s not her best work. Their romance was strangely paced and often vague, yet we got plenty of dirty details about the other guys, including one or two particularly cringey scenes that I wish I could erase from my memory. I didn’t care enough about any of the characters to fully connect Kash and Bailey were just okay for me, and some of the side characters were vomit-inducing. ![]() There’s a mysterious feel to the whole book that should’ve worked well with the suspense, but often left me frustrated instead.
